Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing electrical systems for various projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, proficiency in design software, and knowledge of industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
2. Develop detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software.
3. Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short circuit studies.
4. Ensure designs comply with local and international electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE).
5. Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to meet project requirements.
6. Review and improve existing designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
7. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and specifications.
8. Support site engineers during installation and commissioning phases.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Dialux, or other electrical design software.
3. Strong knowledge of power systems, lighting, and low-voltage design.
4. Understanding of sustainability and energy-efficient design principles.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Professional certifications (e.g., LEED, PMP, or Electrical PE License) are a plus.
