Key Responsibilities

1. Drafts installation drawings based on customer supplied drawings, standard drawings, and field inputs from the FOD/Sales team.
2. Designs diagrams, maps, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software to illustrate project workflow.
3. Issues layouts to the sales team according to site data.
4. Verifies installation drawings with FOD teams for technical details and the sales team for specification verification at project completion.
5. Identifies potential operational issues and redesigns products to improve functionality.
6. Ensures final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
7. Maintains custody of soft copy backups and hard copies of all drawings, including revised and commented versions.
8. Creates manuals describing existing products’ operation, features, and maintenance.
9. Ensures approved layouts are saved in the system with the client contract number.
10. Provides summary reports on the progress of drawings for the concerned FOD team and reports exceptions.
11. Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved.
12. Identifies training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure the required trainings are arranged and attended.
13. Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role.
14. Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Associate degree in Business Administration/Management or equivalent.
2. Relevant certification such as Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) or equivalent is preferred.
3. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in performing drafting operations in the Vertical Transportation Industry.
4. At least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing responsibilities.
5. Fluent written and spoken English essential, Arabic preferred.
6. Saudi Nationals preferred.
