Director, Operational Excellence & Efficiency

Are you an operations excellence expert with 18+ years of experience in offshore drilling projects?

Our prestigious client in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking a dynamic leader to drive performance, optimize fleet operations, and lead continuous improvement. As Director of Operational Excellence & Efficiency, you'll report directly to the CEO and play a key role in shaping operational excellence across offshore projects.

Duties & Responsibilities (shall include but not be limited to):

1. Acting to support the Offshore operations in the company by devising strategies for performance assessment, coaching, and development.
2. Overseeing all the company fleet operations regarding performance and efficiency.
3. Supervise the work of the operation performance monitoring and technical knowledge transfer personnel and provide guidance.
4. Report to the CEO the fleet operational performance challenges and the OEE committee recommendations and actions.
5. Developing and executing a strategic plan for the efficiency function on the performance of operations.
6. Providing strategic insight, technical leadership, and subject matter expertise to a preeminent level.
7. Working in partnership with the operations to positively shape the technical, fiscal, commercial goals.
8. Develops and maintains all efficiency policies in RMS.
9. Ensures compliance with efficiency policies and procedures and is responsible for the overall quality of excellence & efficiency management on rigs.
10. Providing guidance and leadership to offshore staff.
11. Develop and implement operations optimization plan.
12. Manage REI elements, reports & control the KPI's.
13. Define and communicate OEE management processes to rigs.
14. Drive and support operations, Downtime, Training & increasing the employees' competency.
15. Develop and maintain key performance indicators.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position will require supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering with a minimum of 18 years of offshore drilling experience.

Master's Degree in related major/field (Preferred).

Skills:

• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office products.
• Require database management and record keeping skills.
• Demonstrate basic math skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve potential problems or discrepancies.
