Job Description

The Sales Director - Online Automotive will be responsible for leading our sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, building a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth in the online automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the online automotive market.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Sales Team Building: Recruit and build a strong sales team, ensuring it is well-equipped to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Client Acquisition: Oversee client acquisition efforts, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Revenue Growth: Set ambitious revenue targets, monitor progress, and take proactive steps to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the online automotive sector.
  • Sales Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Sales Collateral: Develop and manage sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to the online automotive market.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team on sales performance and market trends.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for the sales department, tracking and reporting on financial performance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in senior sales roles, with a strong preference for candidates with a proven track record in the automotive industry.
  • Extensive experience in sales leadership, client acquisition, and managing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of online automotive market dynamics and industry trends is a plus.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and manage high-performing sales teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, sales forecasting, and budget management.
