Director - Logistics (ENT213)

We are on the lookout for a results-oriented and strategic individual to fill the role of Director - Logistics. This position is pivotal in ensuring that logistics operations are efficient, timely, and aligned with our project goals, contributing directly to the seamless execution of various initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies that encompass planning, transportation, inventory management, and distribution
• Oversee the logistics operations for all projects, ensuring effective coordination between suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
• Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, optimizing costs while enhancing service levels
• Build and maintain relationships with logistics providers to ensure high-quality service delivery and explore new opportunities
• Implement best practices in logistics management and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for optimization
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, project management, and engineering to facilitate smooth operations
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics team
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting logistics performance and strategic recommendations
  
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• A minimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on large-scale projects
• Proven track record of designing and executing effective logistics strategies in complex environments
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing diverse teams
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in logistics management software and tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
