RoleROLE OVERVIEWDirector Fire EngineeringWorking as part of a single LINE organization to be accountable for the successful delivery of the Fire Engineering from a Design and Construction strategy and systems perspective of THE LINE region.
THE LINE region contains a variety of projects in a 9,500km2 land area, including the initial Hidden Marina Mirror Line phase 1 modules, the Landscapes of THE LINE, three special projects and the NEOM International Airport (NIA).
Requirements Summary- Experience with Fire Engineering from a consultant and client perspective; experience with Civil Defence is an asset.
- Experience in process mapping and process modeling tools.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIESKey Accountabilities- Successful delivery of the Fire Engineering Strategy, Design and Construction scope for THE LINE in a manner that supports the successful delivery of the project goals in terms of budget, schedule, quality, and sustainability.
- Leading a team of supporting staff to provide support to the LINE Design Project Engineering Management teams for the regional assets as well as oversight of what LINE Projects are procuring/managing.
- Overall accountability for the successful delivery of the Fire Engineering systems in the LINE regional assets (i.e. irrespective of how that work is delivered).
Key Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive Fire Engineering strategy aligned with the LINE delivery strategy.
- Develop implementation plans for Fire Engineering that consider project-specific requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Utilize industry knowledge and network to source opportunities for Fire Engineering.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances with technology providers, research institutions, and industry experts.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of Fire Engineering on project timelines, costs, and environmental footprint.
- Regularly monitor and report on progress to leadership.
Experience & QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Experience- Minimum of 25 years of experience in Fire Engineering and related fields.
- Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- High level of emotional intelligence and diplomacy.
Qualifications- Relevant Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree Preferred.
