JOB OBJECTIVE:
To manage the digital account in Saudi Arabia (i.e. SDAIA & SCAI) in Saudi Arabia, supporting Thales to meet customer expectations and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative.
The Digital Account Manager will be responsible for representing Thales with all industry stakeholders in the market, networking and developing relationships, successfully promoting the entire company portfolio exploiting products and capabilities present on the various company business lines, and maximizing sales potential.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure adherence of personal behaviours to Company key values
- Foster team working, serving as the link of communication between key Customer/s and internal teams
- Properly represent the Company in front of the assigned key Account/s, being able to promote the full Company portfolio through the involvement of the commercial and technical Company central functions
- Acquire a thorough understanding of assigned key Account/s needs and requirements
- Qualify all potential opportunities that could be followed with the assigned key Customer/s, determining scope and plan to comply and satisfy the key Customer/s needs, so that they do not turn to competition.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to key Customer/s in a timely manner.
- Travel, as needed, to industry events, prospect and partner sites, handling technical presentations at trade shows and conferences, proactively communicating with prospects to ensure exceptional key Account/s satisfaction
- Provide the needed contribution to prepare the annual budgets, in close cooperation with all concerned company functions.
- Prepare and constantly update the key Account Plan/s
- Achieve the annual objectives assigned in terms of Orders Intakes for assigned Key Customer/s
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Experiences in managing customers from commercial and operative standpoints are required.
QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering Degree or MSc. Eng.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Successful previous experience (5+ years track record) covering commercial roles, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Good team player, willing to deal with all kinds of problems in a solutions-oriented manner.
- Clear, logical and persuasive communication skills with an ability to work closely with executives and employees at all levels
- Must possess competence, maturity, adaptability, resilience, integrity and initiative
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, demonstrating familiarity with CRM tools
- Experience designing and presenting technical solutions to meet customer needs
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
