Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced, innovative, and motivated Design Engineer with extensive knowledge in process equipment design. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in mechanical engineering, exceptional design expertise, and a strong commitment to upholding high-quality standards in accordance with industry codes and customer specifications. This role provides significant responsibility and an excellent opportunity to shape and refine our design processes.

1. Create and deliver designs, drawings, and calculations for skid manufacturing projects and process equipment, ensuring they meet ASME codes and customer requirements.
2. Use tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design skid components, assemblies, and process equipment.
3. Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BoM) for skid systems and process equipment.
4. Collaborate with third parties to review and approve designs.
5. Address customer feedback, questions, and comments on engineering work.
6. Update designs and fix any non-conformance issues.
7. Work with internal teams (software, electronics, production) and vendors to solve design and manufacturing challenges.
8. Support the sales team with technical information during pre-order discussions and assist purchasing and production teams during projects.
9. Attend internal and client meetings to ensure project goals are met.
10. Apply lean engineering practices to improve safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. 2-5 years in Design Engineering, ideally within a process equipment or heavy machinery manufacturing company.
2. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (BE/BTech, Mechanical).
3. Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks 3D, and other design tools.
4. Familiarity with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 and API, ASME, and ASTM standards.
5. Capable of independently managing basic and detailed engineering for products like Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, and skid manufacturing components.
6. Strong understanding of engineering design processes and manufacturing practices.
7. Experience in the Oil & Gas or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
