Diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Accountabilities
Clinical Tasks:
Assess dental patients and document findings.
Design and execute the patient’s dental care plan.
Educate patients on their health condition, investigations required, treatment options and medication use.
Educate patients on dental hygiene.
Order and review results of patients’ investigations.
Prescribe medications for patients.
Perform dental procedures as outlined in dental privileging.
The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities. The manager can assign other duties based on the business need.

Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in dentistry from a recognized medical school.
