Dental assistant

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related specialty.

3 years of experience in the same field as a dental assistant.

Dataflow is a must.

Saudi license holder is a plus.

Fluent in English.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide support to our dental team and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the clinic. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to patient care.

1. Prepare patients for treatments and procedures by taking medical histories and vital signs.
2. Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring the comfort of the patient.
3. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
4. Sterilize and prepare instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
5. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
6. Assist with the administration of anesthesia and pain control, as necessary.
7. Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's calendar.
8. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
9. Process billing and insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
10. Monitor and order dental supplies and materials as needed.
11. Ensure the dental operatory and waiting areas are clean and organized.
