Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes in line with leading practices
Establish working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders
Collect feedback from internal stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements
Contribute to the preparation of progress reports directed to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress
Configure database servers and processes, and set up parameters (i.e., names, IDs, passwords, etc.) in line with relevant guidelines and standards
Follow up on data capturing and storage ensuring the ability to monetize data by different functions as and when needed
Maintain database servers through monitoring and tuning system health and performance, and conduct regular performance/quality analysis and error-detection
Conduct database servers scaling as needed to accommodate increasing amounts of data while maintaining high performance
Handle database migration and replication to copy and distribute database objects from one database to another and maintain consistency through synchronization
Handle database backup and recovery to protect against data loss and conduct reconstruction after data loss incidents
Administer access rights to eligible stakeholders in line with data privacy policies and guidelines
Extract data from databases based on requests, and suggest potential opportunities for process automation when applicable
Maintain and implement relevant security patches, data security policies, and procedures as defined by Cybersecurity and Data Governance function to ensure safety and integrity of information
Requirements
0-1 years of experience in a Data Management field
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent is required
