Job description

ASMO is a groundbreaking joint venture between DHL and Aramco. Inheriting DHL’s logistics excellence and Aramco’s extensive supply chain ecosystem, we are here to set a new benchmark and redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape, enabling growth.

ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region.

Objective:

The role holder is responsible for performing the requisite operations related to data collection, data analysis and report generation for generating insights based on the business requirements towards developing and supporting the Technology platforms of ASMO.

General Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate guidelines, processes and parameters for conducting business analysis in order to follow a consistent approach in the process followed for collating data and carrying out analytics.
  • Support in coordinating with Technology departments through periodic meetings to understand the specific business requirements related to business analytics.
  • Coordinate with different internal departments to identify the most suitable data resources to ensure effective data collection and analysis based on the requirements.
  • Support in identifying potential external vendors/market research agencies etc. and coordinate with them to establish the data collection and reporting needs in order to ensure efficiency in the data collection process.
  • Coordinate with external consultants/forums to keep updated with the latest developments in the Technology landscape.
  • Perform data cleaning and standardisation for conducting the relevant analysis and ensures adherence to data quality standards while developing reports on procurement and logistics updates.
  • Stay up to date on the latest business intelligence tools, databases, systems or methods etc. and shares insights with Master Data Quality Manager on leveraging the same for business requirements.
  • Develop the requisite reports (weekly/monthly/ad-hoc) and ensures timely submission of the same to facilitate decision making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
  • Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
  • 5 years’ experience in similar or related field.
  • Experience in Information Technology / Data Solutions / Networking / Cybersecurity preferred.
