Job Summary: Establish and maintain effective data governance frameworks ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage data to support strategic decision-making and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create and implement data governance policies and frameworks.
2. Act as liaison between data owners and users promoting data accountability and stewardship.
3. Establish data quality metrics and monitor compliance.
4. Ensure adherence to data protection regulations and industry standards.
5. Develop and maintain a data classification schema.
6. Oversee the entire data lifecycle.
7. Work with IT, legal, and compliance teams to align data governance efforts.
8. Create and maintain a data catalog.
9. Address data-related issues and conflicts.
10. Identify and assess data-related risks.
11. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
12. Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and improve data governance practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related area with a minimum of two (2) years of experience.
2. Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related area.
