Job Overview

The Data Analysis and Modeling Manager will oversee the development and implementation of data models and analytical processes that support the organization's strategic goals. This role involves managing a team of analysts, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Strategy and Management:
   1. Develop and implement data management strategies that align with organizational goals.
   2. Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of large datasets.
   3. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
2. Team Leadership:
   1. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts.
   2. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
   3. Provide guidance on best practices and emerging trends in data analysis.
3. Data Modeling and Analysis:
   1. Develop and maintain predictive models to support program development and evaluation.
   2. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
   3. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   1. Work closely with program directors and other departments to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
   2. Communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
   3. Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders as needed.
5. Reporting and Visualization:
   1. Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs).
   2. Use data visualization tools to present data in an accessible format.
   3. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to funders and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and management.
3. Proven experience leading and developing a team.
4. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.
