Job Description:

Job Objective:

Conduct regular checks on technology related activities to ensure their compliance with the set cybersecurity processes, policies and procedures, and assist in the assessment, identification of cybersecurity risks, and the development of appropriate mitigation plans to address all identified risks.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Support in the development of IT cybersecurity processes, policies and procedures aimed at ensuring the security of JCSA’s applications, systems, infrastructure and networks, and/or mitigating any potential security risks (e.g. unauthorized access).
2. Schedule and perform cyber risk assessments and audits to ensure all cybersecurity processes, policies and procedures are followed, and to identify, document, control deficiencies in IT business processes and technology systems.
3. Review logs and reports from security systems (e.g. cybersecurity incidents), identify abnormalities and report violations, and work with the service providers to perform deep analysis of the existing/potential cybersecurity risks.
4. Develop cybersecurity risk assessment reports highlighting potential/existing cybersecurity risks and recommend appropriate improvements, mitigations, and any required escalation.
5. Work hand in hand with the technology delivery and strategy team to advise on appropriate security countermeasures for the applications, infrastructure and network under design and development.
6. Work hand in hand with the technology operations team to ensure that the defined cybersecurity policies and procedures are sufficient to tackle potential/existing threats.
7. Develop the cybersecurity risk register and maintain it on a regular basis and ensure highlighting prioritized risks.
8. Support in the development of cybersecurity programs and education material to raise JCSA’s employees awareness around cyber security attacks and risks.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology or any other relevant field.

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role or function.
