Our Company is looking for a Cybersecurity Presales Engineer/consultant with the following qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
1. Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Security Protocols: Knowledge of encryption methods, authentication protocols, and access control models (e.g., SSL/TLS, VPNs, two-factor authentication).
- Firewalls & Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS): Experience with configuring and managing security devices like firewalls, IDS, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
- Vulnerability Assessment: Familiarity with tools like Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS for vulnerability scanning and remediation.
2. Cybersecurity Frameworks and Standards:
Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and PCI-DSS. Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) audits is a plus.
3. Experience with Security Tools:
- Endpoint Protection: Working knowledge of endpoint security tools (antivirus, anti-malware, etc.).
- SIEM (Security Information and Event Management): Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, IBM QRadar, etc.) to monitor and analyze security events.
- Penetration Testing: Experience in ethical hacking or penetration testing (using tools like Kali Linux, Metasploit, or Burp Suite) to identify security flaws.
4. Incident Response & Forensics:
Experience in identifying, managing, and responding to security incidents. Skills in digital forensics and the ability to conduct post-incident investigations.
5. Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+: Basic cybersecurity knowledge.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP): An advanced certification for experienced professionals.
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH): Focused on ethical hacking and penetration testing.
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM): Specializes in managing and governing the cybersecurity program.
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP): Focus on cloud security.
- Preferably experience and certifications in Palo Alto (e.g., PCNSE, NSE).
6. Experience in Cloud Security:
With the growing adoption of cloud platforms, understanding cloud security tools and frameworks for services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly beneficial.
7. Soft Skills:
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address security challenges.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Critical for identifying vulnerabilities and understanding complex security systems.
