Overview of the Role:
The Customer Service Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience, while also handling various operational duties as assigned by the store management team.
What You Will Do:
- Meet or exceed weekly sales targets by actively engaging with customers and understanding their needs.
- Create a welcoming environment by greeting customers with a sincere and friendly approach.
- Provide customers with relevant product information and assist them in making purchasing decisions.
- Offer additional products to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales.
- Provide quality service in the fitting rooms and maintain a clean, organized cash wrap area.
- Sincerely thank all customers for shopping and invite them to return.
Store Standards & Housekeeping
- Maintain store standards by keeping the environment clean and organized.
- Follow M&S policies and procedures 100%.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Assist in visual presentation tasks, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively.
- Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions.
Operations & Inventory Management
- Participate in all store inventories to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to stock loss prevention measures.
- Complete operational duties as assigned by store management, including cash handling and restocking.
People & Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with peers and management to achieve store objectives.
- Exhibit a positive attitude towards the brand and merchandise.
- Be flexible with scheduling and adapt to business needs.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to store safety protocols.
- Be physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle some heavy lifting.
Minimum Qualifications & Knowledge:
- High School Degree
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience
Job-Specific Skills:
- Ability to lift stock as required
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours
- An eye for fashion trends
