Hiring for a Customer Relationship Manager / Account Manager for a leading global enterprise IT solutions and digital transformation services provider.

Title / Designation: Customer Relationship Manager / Account Manager
Reporting Manager: EVP – Sales
Location: Riyadh
Work Mode: Remote from Saudi Arabia

Role & responsibilities:

  1. Build comprehensive account strategies for downstream oil and gas clients in Saudi Arabia, ensuring strong engagement and business growth.
  2. Leverage deep market knowledge and personal connections within oil marketing companies to drive sales and establish long-term relationships.
  3. Identify new opportunities and successfully sell automation solutions to end clients in the downstream Oil & Gas sector across the region.
  4. Work closely with internal product teams to create project plans, define timelines, allocate resources, and manage teams effectively.
  5. Ensure an outstanding Total Customer Experience (TCE) across all managed accounts, fostering trust and satisfaction.
  6. Formalize account relationships, address all products and solutions, and implement a growth strategy to maximize customer share across assigned territories.
  7. Track payment milestones and proactively follow up with multiple clients to ensure timely payments.
  8. Utilize Salesforce.com and other systems to streamline lead generation, opportunity tracking, and deal registration for operational efficiency.
  9. Stay up to date with the product portfolio, industry advancements, and domain expertise to provide valuable insights to clients.
  10. Enhance market presence and strengthen brand recognition in Saudi Arabia through strategic initiatives.
  11. Actively contribute to a positive, cooperative, and results-driven team environment.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.

Candidate requirements:

  1. Minimum 7 years’ experience in account management and/or software sales preferably in the Oil and Gas industry in Saudi Arabia.
  2. Experience in selling automation, fleet management, POS, payment, or logistics solutions to the oil and gas industry.
  3. Based in Riyadh and must be willing to travel to all regions in Saudi Arabia.
  4. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related technical, business discipline, or equivalent in IT/Electronics or a related field.
  5. Native Arabic speaker with fluency in English.
  6. Proficiency in project management software, MS Office suite, and sales analytical tools with strong presentation skills.
  7. Strong account planning, negotiation, and presentation skills.
