Credit & Investment Analyst, US Merchant Bank, Riyadh

Our client is a US merchant bank comprised of private markets asset management, business consulting services, and technology development and solutions. As an employee of the newly established entity in Saudi Arabia, the Credit and Investment Analyst will be working closely with the regional CEO in overseeing and analysing financial data, evaluating credit worthiness and monitoring investment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis and assessment of creditworthiness for potential lending opportunities, focusing on target companies.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed credit reports and investment analysis to support lending decisions.
• Develop and implement robust credit risk assessment methodologies and models.
• Monitor and review existing credit portfolios to ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on credit and investment analysis.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years with relevant experience in a Credit and/or Investment banking environment.
• Understanding of private credit asset classes.
• Understanding of financial and accounting principles, proficiency in financial modelling and ratio analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Knowledge of relevant industry sectors and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
