ROLE OVERVIEW
NEOM is a giga project and requires large investments with substantial funds to be raised through debt financing, as such the Corporate finance plays a central role in arranging various debt financings. The Manager will work with the wider Corporate Finance team in assessing appropriate debt financing structures as well as financing readiness of projects, regions and sectors across NEOM.
The Corporate Finance Manager will work on the execution of debt financing processes across NEOM on below key items.
- Preparation of lender materials - including Information memorandum, financial model, coordinating with consultants for putting together appropriate due diligence material - including Technical, legal, environmental etc.
- Supporting the deal team lead in putting together key terms for transaction and getting it developed into full form term sheet with legal support.
- Supporting the deal team lead in finalizing the legal documentation and having it in agreed form with lenders.
- Supporting deal team lead in seeking all internal approvals and CP satisfaction programs for the facility.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES
The Corporate finance Manager's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Financial modelling and preparation of investor information documents that meet internationally bankable Standards
- Ability to independently add modules/amend existing models and review financial models of complex businesses like project finance and structured finance as per the international banking standards.
- Coordinate preparation of due diligence materials with project teams, including commercial and technical due diligence, ahead of a potential financing process.
- Support the debt financing process from start to finish, including Information memorandum, financial model scenarios, investor decks, coordinating documentation drafting, finalization of CPs, through to financial close.
Debt capacity assessment and understanding business models
- Develop an understanding of the various regions, sectors and key projects of NEOM.
- Assess debt financing options and structures for projects, regions and sectors across NEOM.
- Model out financing structures in excel and analyse optimal funding structures.
Decision support and special projects
- Support relationship management with external stakeholders (PIF, banks) and internal stakeholders (sector heads, regional heads, project proponents, project teams other finance teams).
- Help instill a culture of accountability, transparency, teamwork, and performance within the Corporate Finance team.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 7+ years’ relevant experience working in project & structured finance or investment banking.
- Hands on working knowledge on live transactions specifically financial modelling, investor/lender presentation and pitchbook materials.
- Strong experience in debt financing, deal structuring and / or financial advisory.
- Experience in large syndicated debt financings from start through to completion.
- Ability to present key conclusions and take-aways from complex information and data in a concise manner.
- Ability to manage a range of key stakeholders both external and internal.
- Strong proficiency in excel and power point.
- Team-oriented and ambitious individual who will not hesitate to be hands-on with transactions.
