As a Contracts Specialist for the Green Riyadh project, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of contractual agreements and procurement processes.
Your new role, what's involved:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution and closeout. Ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and compliance with relevant regulations and policies is maintained.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to develop procurement strategies, solicit bids, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise during contract execution.
- Identify potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts and develop risk mitigation strategies. Conduct thorough contract reviews to ensure that terms and conditions are favorable and aligned with project objectives.
- Act as a point of contact for resolving disputes and conflicts that may arise between parties involved in contractual agreements. Facilitate negotiations and mediations to reach mutually beneficial resolutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual documents, correspondence, and amendments. Generate reports and provide regular updates to project stakeholders on contract status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all contractual activities. Uphold principles of transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout the procurement and contracting processes.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, QS, or Equivalent
- Proven experience of 10 years in contract management, procurement, or related field, preferably in the construction, infrastructure, or environmental sector.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in Arabic and English languages is preferred.
