Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and overseeing the contractual aspects of Pico Play's projects in the region, ensuring compliance with local regulations, mitigating risks, and supporting project goals. This role requires strong legal acumen, experience in contract negotiation and management, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to protect the company's interests.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring terms are clear, fair, and align with Pico Play's objectives.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential contractual risks and liabilities, providing proactive solutions to mitigate risks and safeguard Pico Play's interests.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all contracts comply with local Saudi laws, regulations, and company policies, collaborating with legal advisors when needed to maintain adherence to legal requirements.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, from initial negotiation through to final execution, monitoring contract performance, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Claims and Dispute Resolution: Manage any contract-related claims or disputes, coordinating with legal advisors and other relevant parties to achieve resolution in the company's best interest.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of all contract documents, amendments, and communications to ensure clear audit trails and easy access for reference.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance, procurement, and legal teams to provide contractual support, align on project goals, and address any issues.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve contract management processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in contract management, preferably in construction related industries.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian contract law and regulations.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
