We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Engineer to join our team. The Contract Engineer will review subcontractor reports, perform monthly delay analysis, identify risks, maintain a delay register, and draft correspondence with subcontractors. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and proven experience in construction project scheduling, risk assessment, and effective written communication.
Role & Responsibilities
Review and analyze subcontractor progress reports to assess compliance with project schedules.
Conduct monthly delay analysis and prepare detailed reports on project schedule deviations.
Identify risks that may impact project timelines and recommend mitigation strategies.
Maintain and update the project delay register to track schedule risks and delays.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve scheduling conflicts.
Assist in developing recovery plans to address project delays.
Ensure alignment of project schedules with contract requirements and company objectives.
Utilize scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project to monitor and update schedules.
Provide support in claims and extension of time (EOT) assessments.
Generate progress and forecast reports for management.
Experience
Minimum of 8 years working experience in a similar profile.
Working experience in an EPC Industry or construction Industry.
Responsible for reviewing subcontractor reports, identifying risks, forecasting planning, and performing delay analysis.
Knowledge and Skills Set
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Good analytical skills and data analysis techniques.
Knowledge of construction issues and the cost/schedule/risk factors associated.
Awareness of construction safety.
Education & Certification
BE or B.Tech in any discipline (preferably Mechanical or Civil).
