Your new role, what's involved
We are seeking a highly experienced Contact Administrator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience, specifically in site supervision roles within the consultancy sector. The Contact Administrator will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication and coordination between WSP and external stakeholders on construction projects, including roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.
Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee all aspects of contract administration, including reviewing contract documents, monitoring compliance with contractual obligations, and ensuring timely resolution of disputes.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and fostering positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project correspondence, contracts, and change orders. Prepare regular reports on project progress, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and recommended actions.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with project teams to ensure that construction activities adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement strategies to mitigate project delays, cost overruns, and other challenges.
- Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes and claims arising during the construction phase, working closely with legal and technical teams to achieve equitable solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of contract administration activities.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in contract administration and site supervision within the consultancy sector, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex contracts and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are preferred.
