Job description

Woodston Personnel have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Radiologist role with our client in KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical images, providing accurate diagnoses, and contributing to patient management and treatment planning. The role requires expertise in a wide range of imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, with optional subspecialty expertise in areas such as interventional radiology, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, or oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and report on a variety of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.
  • Provide expert opinions and collaborate with referring clinicians to aid in patient diagnosis and management.
  • Perform image-guided procedures where applicable, including biopsies, drainages, and other interventional techniques.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging standards and adherence to safety protocols, including radiation protection measures.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and clinical audits to enhance patient care.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior doctors, radiographers, and medical students.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and the development of departmental protocols.
  • Stay updated with advancements in radiology, emerging technologies, and best practices through continuous professional development.

Education & Certification:

  • Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).
  • Board certification or fellowship in Radiology (e.g., FRCR, ABR, FRCPC, FRANZCR, or equivalent).
  • Valid medical license/registration to practice as a Consultant Radiologist.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of post-fellowship experience in diagnostic radiology.
  • Expertise in general radiology; subspecialty experience is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills in interpreting imaging studies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with medical professionals.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high accuracy in reporting.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Proficiency in using modern radiology software and PACS systems.
