Consultant Periodontics Dentistry

JOB SUMMARY

As a consultant periodontist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing periodontal diseases, creating individualized treatment plans, and performing various periodontal procedures, including surgeries. You will educate patients on maintaining their oral health and collaborate with dental teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides high-quality periodontist care to patients in this area of medicine.
2. Provide consultative service as requested.
3. Supervise fellows, staff, assistant physicians, and residents.
4. Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.
5. Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
6. Performs special procedures as privileged.
7. Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

1. Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
2. Completion of required period of training in periodontist dentistry.
3. American Board/MRCPCH-Irish, UK, Canadian, Australian & New Zealand/DES/CIS/Diplome di Medico Specialist Italy/SCR Holland/Swedish Board/German Fachartz/Austrian Fachartz/CCST UK/Saudi Board/Arab Board & sub Board/Fellowship.
4. Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
5. A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
6. Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

1. Min. 3-4 years post-board/fellowship in periodontist.
2. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

1. Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
