Job Description:

1. To provide clear and unambiguous direction and leadership on site to all trades.
2. To plan, coordinate, monitor and manage the daily activities, including, but not limited to, logistics, material supplies, resource planning, sequencing of all the works, testing and inspections, housekeeping, waste management and health & safety.
3. To be the primary point of contact at site for all sub-contractors and Client vendors as well as the Landlord and/or Client’s representative.
4. To ensure that the Mall / Landlord’s rules and regulations are complied with at all times.
5. To coordinate with the commercial team to ensure variations, project changes and contra charges are captured.
6. To analyse the BOQ and IFC drawings to make sure the scope of work is clearly defined and to identify if there are any scope gaps.
7. To make sure that the materials being used on site are following the specification and approved submissions.
8. To proactively identify potential clashes of works and trades, to resolve any conflicts and provide solutions on site or if unable to do so, then raise RFI’s or immediately bring the issue to the Project Manager’s attention.
9. To ensure the quality inspections are being executed correctly and any rectifications are handled swiftly and effectively.
10. To ensure that the health and safety procedures are being followed at all times and that the welfare of the workers and working conditions are being considered and maintained.
11. To attend and, as required, to lead the site progress meetings with various stakeholders, including the Client, the various Consultant’s, and the Clients representatives.
12. To provide input to the regular Management Reports as required.
13. To control the entire testing and commissioning stages as well as de-snagging and final close out and handover of the project.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Preferably with 11+ years of experience in the construction industry in interiors with at least 2-4 years in a similar role.
• Must have extensive know-how on all site operations and should have managed different-sized commercial value projects.
• Successful track record of working on these types of projects: Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, Education, etc.
• Attention to detail and concern for quality.
• Good people and time management skills.
