Construction Engineer - Electrical

Job Summary:

The Electrical Construction Engineer will oversee and manage the installation of electrical systems and components during the construction phase of various projects. The role involves ensuring that all electrical work adheres to safety standards, project specifications, and local electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee the installation of electrical systems in construction projects.

• Supervise electrical installations activities.

• Review project specifications, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams to ensure they meet project goals.

• Ensure all electrical systems comply with local codes and safety standards.

• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.

• Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during the installation of electrical equipment.

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of electrical installations within budget.

• Prepare project reports and documentation, including work progress and as-built drawings.

• Identify potential risks and work on mitigating them in the electrical construction process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in electrical construction, preferably in Power plant or Substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and construction practices.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
