Key Responsibilities
- Generate bold, innovative ideas and design concepts that align with project objectives and strategies.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and actively contribute fresh, original ideas.
- Explore and experiment with diverse conceptual approaches to address client challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft design narratives and presentations that inspire and resonate with stakeholders.
- Actively research and integrate trends, cultural movements, and emerging technologies into creative solutions.
- Communicate and present high-level creative concepts to senior management and clients with clarity and passion.
- Develop design intent sketches, storyboards, mood boards, and mockups to articulate concepts.
- Source and curate materials, imagery, and references to support the creative vision.
- Produce high-quality design intent drawings and sketches as required for projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their brand, vision, and goals.
- Serve as a trusted creative advisor, helping clients understand and embrace innovative solutions.
- Ensure creative deliverables meet or exceed client expectations in terms of quality, timelines, and budget.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the feasibility of creative ideas and their successful implementation.
- Contribute to the successful execution of creative solutions from concept to final delivery.
- Foster an environment of innovation and excellence within the team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Exceptional ability to generate and articulate creative concepts and strategies.
- A curious mindset, constantly exploring new ideas and questioning conventions.
- Proven track record of contributing to or leading ideation sessions that result in breakthrough concepts.
- Strong understanding of design principles, storytelling, and user experiences across various media.
- Hand sketching ability to demonstrate ideation and development stages of the creative process.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere).
- Experience working with 3D tools like 3DStudio Max, Unreal Engine, or SketchUp to bring ideas to life.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to confidently pitch ideas to senior stakeholders and clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills to nurture relationships with both clients and internal teams.
- Experience working on projects for corporate global brands in retail, architecture, interior, or exhibition design.
- Understanding of materials, media, and technologies used in the creative production process.
- Space planning and design strategy experience.
- A keen eye for detail and an appreciation for craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with digital and social media trends is a plus.
- A degree in Interior Architecture, Exhibition Design, Environmental Design, or a related creative field.
- 5+ years of experience in design agencies or similar creative environments, with a focus on ideation and conceptual thinking.
