Who are we looking for

We are looking for experienced Compliance Consultants to join our talent pool for upcoming projects in the Middle East. Consultants with 10+ years of experience in compliance implementation and execution, with expertise in developing and executing compliance roadmaps, embedding ISO standards, and enhancing compliance frameworks within client organisations will be ideal.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Review and update the compliance roadmap to align with the clients strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
2. Support client teams in implementing compliance-related activities, ensuring full alignment with regulatory expectations.
3. Develop a structured compliance action plan, defining key deliverables and tracking progress against milestones.
4. Analyse and enhance compliance policies and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance.
5. Review and refine the delegation of authority mechanisms to strengthen internal controls and compliance oversight.
6. Identify and implement corrective actions to address compliance gaps and deficiencies.
7. Lead the implementation of ISO 37301 (Compliance Management Systems) within the clients compliance function.
8. Conduct compliance risk assessments and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
9. Design and deliver compliance training programs for client employees to improve awareness and adoption of compliance practices.
10. Monitor and evaluate the progress of compliance implementation, providing detailed reports and strategic recommendations to the client and consulting firm.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. Successful implementation of ISO 37301 compliance framework
2. Effectiveness and adoption of compliance policies and procedures
3. Timely delivery of compliance action plan milestones
4. Stakeholder satisfaction and alignment with client objectives
5. Identification and resolution of compliance gaps

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Law, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
2. Professional certification in compliance (e.g., ISO 37301, CRCM, CCEP) is preferred.
3. 10+ years of experience in compliance implementation and execution.
4. Proven expertise in compliance roadmap execution, policy adaptation, and process enhancement within client environments.
5. Strong understanding of ISO 37301 compliance frameworks and their operational implementation.
6. Proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and verbal).
7. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and report-writing skills.

Duration:

6-12 months (contract-based role, with potential for extension based on project requirements)
