Job Overview:

To anchor all communication related activities and boost ENGIE Saudi Arabia’s brand visibility to target audiences through the effective use of technology and innovative mediums. This role will be responsible for the organisation's Branding Internal and External.

Responsibilities:

  1. Overarching responsibility for Saudi Arabia’s internal and external communications.
  2. Develop corporate communications strategy, plan, and budget for ENGIE in Saudi Arabia.
  3. Responsible for building ENGIE’s visibility in the country, aligned with the business objectives.
  4. Seek different ways to communicate regularly, aligned with tenders, financial closes, project milestones, project delivery, plus general business communications.
  5. Understand the needs of the organisation to produce effective and relevant communication strategies and campaigns.
  6. Create interest and demand through media, press releases, conferences, interviews, content management, internal communications, risk management, and collaterals.
  7. Decide and manage all external events and exhibitions, including content delivery and key messages.
  8. Conduct market research & competitive intelligence to support the industry's knowledge and understanding of the market.
  9. Set up policy/guidelines for all media interactions in the organization.
  10. Create content through investigatory means, including collaterals, films, animations, infographics, presentations, and fact sheets.
  11. Develop and write collateral pieces, advertising, newsletters, social media, and website content.
  12. Develop executive speeches and key messages for ENGIE speakers externally.
  13. Oversee and deliver all digital and online media including website, social media strategy, and sponsored content.
  14. Create and grow strategic stakeholder relationships with external parties such as government, local councils, and media.
  15. Drive proactive and reactive communications internally to support the business.
  16. Monitor corporate reputation and crisis communications.
  17. Manage Investor and Media Relations for Saudi Arabia.
  18. Organise and communicate all ENGIE CSR initiatives and university institutions.
  19. Manage and coordinate internal communications across ENGIE Saudi Arabia.
  20. Custodian of the ENGIE Brand to ensure compliance with Gp Brand Guidelines.
  21. Work with regional communications to stay aligned with ENGIE’s global ambitions.

Qualifications:

  1. Full-time professional degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or equivalent.
  2. Fluent in English and Arabic (verbal and written skills); other languages would be a benefit.
  3. Excellent writing, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Broad experience as a Communications professional with a minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience.
  2. Tech-savvy and proficient in MS Office suite.
  3. Demonstrated success in a cost and delivery-focused environment.
  4. Ability to deliver creative solutions to the needs of internal customers.

  1. Regional Communications team.
  2. Stakeholders and Regulatory Affairs team.
  3. Business & Functional leaders.

Must be very organised with the ability to manage several simultaneous projects/activities, being flexible, creative, and proactive, with competent project management skills.
