Commissioning Manager - Desalination

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the leading EPC Contractors in the water and effluent treatment industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager with proven expertise in leading the commissioning of large-scale desalination projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact water infrastructure projects in KSA, driving the commissioning process from pre-commissioning to handover.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Lead commissioning of at least one 100 MLD Desalination project.
2. 50%+ of experience in commissioning activities.
3. Strong understanding of construction and water projects.
4. Proficient in project management and scheduling tools.
5. Oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and test runs.
6. Ensure smooth, compliant commissioning processes, including PGTR completion.
7. Coordinate with project management to meet contract commissioning requirements.
8. Develop and execute commissioning plans and schedules.
9. Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
10. Manage commissioning documentation (manuals, SOPs, reports).
11. Coordinate with consultants, customers, and vendors for commissioning and handovers.
12. Conduct interface meetings with disciplines for seamless execution.
13. Assist with construction and handover phases.
14. Share lessons learned to optimize processes and resolve operational issues.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in commissioning activities, with at least 50% of the experience dedicated to commissioning roles.
2. Proven track record of successfully commissioning large-scale projects, ideally within the desalination or water treatment industry.
3. Strong technical knowledge in construction and water projects, with a focus on commissioning and startup phases.
4. Proficient in project management methodologies, scheduling tools, and contract management.
5. Degree in BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
