Job description

Summary

You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with Global Hyatt's Strategies and Brand Standards, while meeting the expectations of colleagues, guests, owners, vendors, suppliers, and community members.

The Commis or Chef De Partie (Pastry Kitchen) will be in charge of preparing the daily production for the morning bakeries, pastries for breakfast, buffet for all-day dining, banquets, coffee breaks, outdoor caterings, and weddings. You will report to the Pastry Chef for the daily running of the department in an efficient manner.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 2 years work experience as Demi Chef De Partie or Commis.
  2. Ideal candidate if available with transferable IQAMA in Saudi Arabia.
  3. Previous hotel experience is a must.
  4. Able to work with teams and flexible working hours.
  5. Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  6. Good communication skills in English are a must; Arabic will be a plus.
