Task and Responsibilities

1. Develop/improve commercial strategies in line with the trend of marine and offshore projects in the Middle East, focusing on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2. Take charge of executing the commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets for ship repairs, conversions, and fabrications.
3. Establish a new clients pool and carry out the vendor registration process for all new Marine and Offshore customers operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
4. Follow up on all new clients to promote PaxOcean for Maintenance Company (PFMC) capabilities and service support to bring in new revenue streams.
5. Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for PFMC.
6. Follow-up on tenders with customers and agents and negotiate the Contracts/Projects.
7. Carry out estimating and commercial invoicing in KSA.
8. Handle client management for PFMC and submission of Work Done reports.
9. Work with the PFMC Operations team to maintain optimal critical inventory levels for materials and consumables.
10. Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations and also determine when processes violate regulations.
11. Assess all risks and make recommendations based on the analysis of factors affecting a business situation.
12. Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with clients.
13. Review existing company procedures and policies on commercial management and provide constructive feedback for refining/updating of the existing procedures.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor degree in Maritime Business or Marine & Offshore Engineering field
2. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the commercial – Shipyard.
3. Strong grasp of Saudi Maritime Business is a MUST.
4. Conversant in SAP Project Management
5. Conversant in Salesforce (Preferred)
6. Team management experience
7. Good leadership skills.
8. Good client management and customer service skills.
9. Verbal and written communication skills in English.
10. Language competency in Arabic is preferred.
11. Willing to work in the Middle East.
