Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Manager to oversee business growth, financial performance, and contract management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing commercial strategies, managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring profitability. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills to drive revenue growth and maximize business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Strategy & Business Growth:
    • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to drive business expansion.
  2. Financial Management & Profitability:
    • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Monitor financial performance and profitability of projects/contracts.
    • Analyze risks and implement cost-saving strategies.
  3. Contract & Negotiation Management:
    • Negotiate, draft, and manage commercial contracts with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and regulatory requirements.
    • Handle contract disputes and resolve commercial issues effectively.
  4. Client & Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
    • Address customer needs, concerns, and service level agreements.
    • Lead business development and sales initiatives to drive revenue growth.
  5. Operational & Team Leadership:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align commercial activities with operational goals.
    • Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to commercial and sales teams.
    • Ensure best practices in commercial governance, procurement, and risk management.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager.
  • 10+ years experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, contract law, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions.
  • Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., construction, retail, manufacturing, logistics].
  • Proficiency in CRM software, contract management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
