The Commercial and Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of the company. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, managing client relationships, and ensuring profitable growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.
Oversee the preparation of bids, proposals, and contracts.
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing to ensure favorable terms for the company. Also, follow up on variation orders, claims, and payment collections.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Lead and mentor the commercial team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in the steel fabrication and/or pressure vessel industries.
Strong understanding of contract management and negotiation.
Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
