Coiled Tubing Operator - Saudi Arabia

Job Title: Field Operator III – CT (Coiled Tubing Field Operator)

Location: SAU-Al Ahsa

Role Summary:

The Coiled Tubing Field Operator maintains and operates coiled tubing equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with standards. Responsibilities include monitoring execution of jobs, reporting hazards, maintaining equipment, and conducting preventative maintenance.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Always maintains safety standards.
2. Monitors execution of job accurately.
3. Keeps paperwork current; maintenance sheets, fuel logs, logbooks, pre/post trips, and month-end expense accounts and job summary.
4. Communicates effectively with Supervisor in planning and execution.
5. Knows and complies with required legislation.
6. Follows all safety rules and work procedures.
7. Reports all hazards or potentially hazardous situations to the supervisor.
8. Reports all accidents, incidents, and injuries immediately.
9. Ensures all equipment, including personal protective equipment, is in proper working order and maintained to standards.
10. Conducts all business activities in accordance with HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Core Values.
11. Operates the Coiled Tubing unit with minimal supervision.
12. Performs preventative maintenance & troubleshooting for Coiled Tubing Equipment including the data acquisition system.
13. Has a solid understanding of well control principles.
14. Participates in safety and general meetings.
15. Maintains equipment to standards.
16. Assembles and prepares equipment for installation and service.
17. Performs pre/post job Coiled Tubing equipment inspections.
18. Responsible for safe crane and rigging operations during the delivery of services.
19. Operates High Pressure fluid pump and coil tubing support equipment.
20. Performs hydrostatic testing.
21. Monitors well control parameters and calculations before and during job applications.
22. Performs and completes preventative maintenance on all Coil Tubing associated equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 – 15 years of Coiled Tubing experience and product line competencies and training required.
3. Strong knowledge of SAP, MS Office applications.
4. Proficiency in speaking and communicating in English to meet job requirements.
