The Cloud Solutions Architect Manager will lead a team of architects, including Azure & Modern Work Sr. Solutions Architects, to deliver innovative cloud solutions that align with client needs and the company's strategic goals. This role requires strong leadership to drive technical excellence, manage team performance, and foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, Microsoft, and other vendors.


Description of the Job:
  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of solutions architects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering technical excellence.
  2. Define and implement cloud transformation strategies, aligning technical solutions with organizational goals and customer needs.
  3. Review and approve architecture designs and technical proposals, ensuring scalability, resilience, and high-quality deliverables.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and vendors (Microsoft), acting as a senior point of contact for escalations and strategic discussions.
  5. Continuous learning through training sessions, certifications, and knowledge transfer within the team and across departments.
  6. Provide detailed insights on team performance, project status, and business opportunities to senior management.
  7. Manage and support the pre-sales process in cooperation with the sales team.
  8. Support Solution Architect team to provide Proof of Concepts, Architecture Design Sessions and Strategy/Technology Briefings proving Microsoft’s capabilities and other products can meet customer’s requirements.
  9. Direct engagement with key clients and support in architecture designs and technical proposals for these clients.
  10. Build strategic proactive GTM approaches for Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Azure Solutions.
  11. Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue growth.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Work with the Sales Team and Operations in evolving Ctelecoms Value proposition.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of solutions architects.
  3. Establish performance goals and support skill development aligned with team objectives.
  4. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  5. Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of Ctelecoms products, services, and solutions.
  6. Primary Focused Domain(s): Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, Hyper-V, SQL Server, Teams Rooms and Phone, CodeTwo, Backup & DR and Bactopus.
  7. Review and approve architecture designs, proposals, and technical documentation prepared by the team.
  8. Ensure solutions meet customer requirements for scalability, availability, and resilience.
  9. Oversee the development and maintenance of the technical content library.
  10. Act as an escalation point for complex client issues and support pre-sales discussions as needed.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, Microsoft, and other vendors.
  12. Drive partnerships with Microsoft Saudi Teams and other stakeholders for enhanced collaboration and business growth.
  13. Promote knowledge sharing within the team and across departments through training sessions and documentation.
  14. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and certifications to guide the team in adopting cutting-edge technologies.
  15. Provide detailed reports on team performance, project progress, and strategic opportunities to senior management.
  16. Ensure the team complies with internal documentation standards and client reporting requirements.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience):
  1. BA in Information Technology or equivalent.
  2. Advanced certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are preferred.
  3. Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud solutions architecture, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  4. Proven track record in pre-sales, technical strategy, and client relationship management.
  5. Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation abilities for diverse stakeholders.
  7. Deep understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, and other modern workplace solutions.
  8. Client-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  9. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  10. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
