Red Hat Consulting is seeking Cloud Architects specialized in Telco to join our regional consulting practice teams. The primary responsibility of the Red Hat Telco Cloud Architect is to passionately drive the adoption of Red Hat's solution in our key telco service provider customers, network equipment providers, and key system integrator partners. Through a series of interactions both in-person and remote, the Telco Cloud Architect will win the trust and confidence of their engineering, development, and operations teams by aligning their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of the solution. The Telco Cloud Architect will have thorough working knowledge and hands-on experience with OpenStack and Openshift based cloud infrastructures to support applications providing virtualized network functions (VNF) to the telco industry. Successful candidates will bring a wealth of industry experience and domain expertise to play a leading role in the design and project delivery of these business-critical solutions, and therefore will need a strong working knowledge of Agile project methodologies, as well as DevOps models and technologies.
The Red Hat Telco Cloud Architect will also play a critical role in bringing together cross-functional teams from Red Hat’s product business units, product engineering, support, consulting, and sales to meet the needs of these demanding customers. He/She will act as a customer advocate with these organizations to architect the right solutions and to ensure that those solutions are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.
