Job Description

1. Preparation of FEED documents and drawings.
2. Preparation of DED documents and drawings.
3. Preparation of Bid engineering estimates for the project.
4. Preparation of Scope of work and Engineering man-hour estimate of the project.
5. Preparation of Scope of Work, Basis of Design.
6. Preparation of Construction Scope of Work for the Contractor.
7. Attend Site Surveys with Clients and Contractors to determine requirements necessary for an accurate and competitive design proposal.
8. Preparation of Complete Technical Proposal – design for the FEED.
9. Development of RCC Structural Design.
10. Development of Steel Structural Design.
11. Development of Liquid Retaining Structure Design.
12. Development of Pipe Rack Design.
13. Development of Foundation Design.
14. Development of Utility Design including Sanitary, Oily and Storm Water Drainage System.
15. Preparation of Purchase Requisitions.
16. Provide construction support through TQ responses.
17. Development of Rebar Detailing and Steel Detailing.
18. Preparation of Estimation.
19. Familiarity with ACI, AISC and ASCE Codes.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Provide sound technical expertise when applying engineering principles, techniques and methods to design of infrastructure, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
2. Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
3. Review and extracts engineering information from CAD Drawings.
4. Performs engineering tasks effectively and accurately.
5. Carry out technical review for all design deliverables, including Independent Design Checks.
6. Prepares engineering designs computations, sketches, and review final design drawings/documents.
7. Establishes the design requirements of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverable for adherence to these criteria.
8. Assure design is in conformance with time, cost, schedule and contractual requirements.
9. Coordinate the work of the project team with other engineering disciplines through liaison with other engineers.
10. Prepares and issues specifications and other construction documents.
11. Assist Engineering Manager in supervising assistant and Junior Engineers.
12. Review designs prepared by others as part of a Quality Management process.

Qualifications:

Candidate with 10 to 16+ years of experience working with oil and Gas industry, Refinery, Petrochemical Plant.

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / BS – Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer.

Candidates with experience in Saudi Aramco Project / aware of Saudi Aramco Engineering standards will be an added advantage with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in GES / GES + in Saudi.
