About Our Client:

Our client is a key player in a consortium dedicated to delivering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ambitious National Renewable Energy Program. This initiative aims to achieve a total renewable energy capacity of 11.4 GW once fully operational.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international standards, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, construction and maintenance procedures, and material testing methodologies. This role involves overseeing design, construction, and maintenance projects while ensuring compliance, safety, and quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development:
   • Prepare and review civil engineering designs, ensuring they meet international and SEC standards.
   • Analyze project specifications, technical drawings, and plans for civil structures.
2. Construction Oversight:
   • Supervise construction activities to ensure they comply with approved plans and standards.
   • Monitor construction progress, resolve issues on-site, and ensure timely project delivery.
3. Standards & Compliance:
   • Apply thorough knowledge of applicable international standards (e.g., ACI, ASTM, BS) in all phases of work.
   • Ensure alignment with SEC standards and company guidelines in project execution.
4. Material Testing & Quality Control:
   • Oversee material testing procedures to ensure quality and compliance with design requirements.
   • Analyze test results and recommend adjustments or corrective actions where necessary.
5. Maintenance & Inspection:
   • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance assessments for civil structures.
   • Propose maintenance strategies to enhance structural integrity and performance.
6. Project Coordination:
   • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, to ensure cohesive project execution.
   • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders.
7. Risk Management:
   • Identify potential risks related to civil engineering works and implement mitigation strategies.
   • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols at all project sites.

Requirements:

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least Eight (8) years of experience with at least four (4) years’ experience in relevant Civil/Structural QAQC inspection
• Thorough knowledge of applicable International standards, SEC standards, construction & maintenance procedures, and material testing procedures
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Equivalent.
