Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Area Inspector with extensive experience in refinery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting civil structures and infrastructure within the refinery to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct inspections of civil structures, including buildings, foundations, and other infrastructure, to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
2. Develop and implement inspection plans and schedules for refinery civil infrastructure.
3. Identify and report on structural issues, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
4. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address inspection findings and ensure timely repairs.
5. Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
6. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during all inspection activities.
7. Provide technical support and guidance on civil inspection matters.
8. Train and mentor junior staff on inspection techniques and safety standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil inspection within a refinery setting.
3. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for civil structures.
4. Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Certification in relevant inspection standards (e.g., API, NACE) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Advanced degree in a related field.
2. Experience with risk-based inspection (RBI) methodologies.
