A world-class Leader in Shipbuilding and Offshore Rig Construction is looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence and large-scale project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee end-to-end shipbuilding and rig construction operations, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline targets.
2. Lead MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) operations to optimize service delivery and resource allocation.
3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance yard efficiency, production planning, and supply chain management.
4. Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, safety, and engineering innovation.
5. Manage high-value stakeholder relationships, including government entities, industry partners, and global clients.
6. Ensure financial performance by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. 20+ years of experience in commercial shipbuilding, rig construction, and yard operations.
2. Extensive leadership in program and project execution within a maritime/manufacturing environment.
3. Expertise in managing large-scale shipyard services, including docking, maintenance, and support operations.
4. Proven ability to optimize operational performance, reduce costs, and drive efficiency.
5. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
6. Strong P&L, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
