We are partnering with a leading oil and gas company in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, to find an experienced and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The CHRO will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of implementing effective HR strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the company’s goals and objectives.
  2. Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance across the organization.
  3. Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HR-related issues and business objectives.
  4. Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
  5. Develop and implement talent management programs, including career development and succession planning.
  6. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  7. Drive organizational change initiatives to support business transformation and growth.
  8. Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  9. Implement employee engagement programs to improve morale and productivity.
  10. Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
  11. Ensure that compensation practices comply with Saudi labor laws and industry standards.
  12. Conduct regular reviews and benchmarking of compensation packages.
  13. Develop and implement performance management systems that align with organizational goals.
  14. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues.
  15. Ensure timely and constructive feedback is provided to employees.
  16. Manage employee relations issues and ensure a fair and consistent approach.
  17. Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations.
  18. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with best practices.
  19. Oversee the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  20. Promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
  21. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
  22. Optimize HR processes and systems to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  23. Implement and manage HRIS systems to support HR operations.
  24. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of HR metrics and data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CIPD Level 7 are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws and regulations, as well as international HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in leading HR transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets, as well as financial acumen related to compensation and benefits.
