Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our clients leadership team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Financial Accounting, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Financial Planning & Analysis, with a strong preference for those who have operated in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting & Control:
• Lead the finance and accounts function, ensuring robust financial control, statutory compliance, and accurate reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
• Drive the company’s inorganic growth strategy through evaluation, negotiation, and execution of M&A opportunities.
• Conduct financial due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
• Lead strategic financial planning, scenario modeling, and business forecasting.
• Partner with business teams to drive financial performance, operational efficiencies, and profitability.
• Investor Relations (Preferred):
• Manage relationships with existing and potential investors.
• Support in fundraising, board communications, and market positioning.

Requirements:

• Must-Have:
• Strong experience in Finance & Accounts (F&A), preferably with exposure to both local and international standards.
• Proven track record in handling M&A transactions end-to-end.
• Deep expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), business partnering, and financial modeling.

Preferred:

• Experience in Investor Relations and exposure to capital markets.
• Prior experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable.

Educational Qualifications:

• CA / CPA / MBA Finance or equivalent
