Job Title: Chief Executive Officer
Reports to: Board of Directors
Role: Full time (Saudi Nationals only, CMA restrictions apply)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer, in partnership with the Board, is responsible for the success of the Firm. Together, the Board and Chief Executive Officer assure the accomplishment of the Firm's mission and vision. The Board has delegated responsibility for management and day-to-day operations to the Chief Executive Officer and has given them the authority to carry out these responsibilities, in accordance with the direction and policies established by the Board. The CEO provides direction and facilitates the Board in carrying out its governance functions.

Duties and Responsibilities
Your specific duties and responsibilities will include:

  1. Lead, in conjunction with the Board, the development of the Firm’s strategy.
  2. Lead and oversee the implementation of the Firm’s long and short-term plans in accordance with its strategy.
  3. Ensure the Firm is appropriately organized and staffed and to hire and terminate staff as necessary to enable it to achieve the approved strategy.
  4. Ensure that expenditures of the Firm are within the authorized annual budget of the Firm.
  5. Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place.
  6. Ensure that the Firm has appropriate systems to enable it to comply with the CMA and other regulatory requirements.
  7. Communicate effectively with shareholders, employees, Government authorities, other stakeholders, and the public.
  8. Ensure that the Directors are properly informed, and that sufficient information is provided to the Board to enable the Directors to form appropriate judgments.
  9. Sit on committees of the Board where appropriate as determined by the Board.
  10. Abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the Firm’s standards and policies.

Skills and Experience
Experience (essential to any successful application)
Minimum of 12 years experience in a similar role with a regulated entity.
Experience in dealing with the regulator, CMA experience is required.
Must have significant experience in KSA working for investment Firms.
Proven ability to develop new and enhance existing client relationships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Superior leadership and team building skills.
Experience in implementing robust strategies and leading the business to successfully achieve organizational goals.
Self-starter who can develop business and build a highly effective team.

Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree from a leading university with a concentration preferably in law, finance, accounting, economics, or business.
Candidates with CAMS, CISI or ICA certifications are highly desired.
