We're seeking a master multi-tasker with repair skills to keep hotels looking and feeling their best. The Chief Engineer will lead a small team to stay ahead of maintenance needs. Responsibilities include:

• Directing daily engineering needs to ensure the right team is on the right task.
• Creating a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our guests.
• Maintaining and ordering parts and supplies while minimizing waste and meeting our green initiatives.
• Being flexible to react to ad-hoc duties.
• Building strong relationships with outside contacts.

Requirements include:

• Hotel pre-opening or renovation experience.
• Four years' experience in general building maintenance and/or construction.
• Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields.
• Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required.
• Hotel pre-opening experience is essential.
• Professional certification and license if required by law.
