Catering Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Provides overall leadership in the design, implementation, and execution of the company's food and beverage operational standards and procedures, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction related to catering services.
2. Consult with clients to plan and determine event requirements including dates, number of guests, and size of the venue. Collaborate with the executive chef regarding special items to be added to the menus. Direct the catering sales effort to ensure revenue maximization with a working knowledge of food and beverage and understanding of kitchen and banquet service procedures.
3. Maintains constant communication with guests and on-site contacts to ensure all expectations are met or exceeded.
4. Remains alert to complaints and/or unsatisfied guests and responds appropriately to ensure guest satisfaction.
5. Coordinates with other staff and departments to arrange for the delivery of requested services.
6. Maintains constant contact with kitchen staff to ensure effective communication between food production and food service.
7. Conducts regular meetings with the sales managers, Operations, as well as the executive chef to continuously evaluate strategies and ideas for enhancements to benefit the guest's experience.
8. Build the Catering department from scratch.

Requirements and skills:

1. More than 7 years of experience in the catering sector.
2. Previous experience in establishing a catering department.
3. Must have experience in Saudi Arabia.
4. Hands-on experience with creating menus from scratch.
5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
6. Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays.
7. Certification in hospitality or culinary management is a plus.
8. Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
