Establish and maintain THC's Continuing Airworthiness Surveillance System (CASS) in compliance with GACAR 121.691 and THC policies.
Develop, implement, and revise CASS procedures and policies to align with the latest GACA regulations.
Ensure compliance with THC's General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and monitor adherence to maintenance program requirements.
Conduct audits, inspections, and investigations to assess the effectiveness of THC's maintenance programs.
Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends, repetitive defects, and areas for improvement.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for identified deficiencies.
Implement CASS Risk Management Processes and recommend mitigating actions for identified hazards.
Monitor all 10 elements of THC's Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) for trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
Ensure timely follow-up on audit findings to verify corrective actions are effective.
Prepare and publish monthly CASS reports, including statistical analyses and audit findings.
Conduct quarterly CASS meetings, present data to the CASS committee, and document meeting minutes.
Facilitate CASS Board Meetings to discuss audit results, operational trends, and required corrective actions.
Coordinate with Fleet Management, Technical Services, and Maintenance Planning to address reliability issues and recommend preventive actions.
Monitor Aircraft Health Usage Monitoring (HUM) alerts/events and coordinate corrective actions for chronic or repetitive defects.
Supervise CASS auditors and delegate audit functions to qualified personnel as needed.
Oversee THC's Reliability Program, ensuring its effective implementation.
Develop and propose continuous improvement initiatives to enhance aircraft reliability, safety, and maintenance processes.
Ensure confidentiality in all work-related matters and uphold THC's operational and regulatory standards.
Experience & Skills:
5-6 years of aviation and/or aircraft maintenance experience, with a strong background in technical operations.
Training or experience in systems analysis, auditing, risk assessment and management, root cause analysis (RCA), reliability monitoring, and human factors, with a solid understanding of the CASS process.
In-depth knowledge of GACA rules and regulations, as well as relevant industry safety standards.
Familiarity with organizational procedures and experience working in a regulated aviation environment.
Strong understanding of auditing processes, Risk Management, RCA, and Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
Excellent analytical skills to assess performance data, identify trends, and implement improvements.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite or related software for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
Documentary evidence of relevant training or type rating (preferred).
Experience with the Continuing Airworthiness Surveillance System (CASS) or Reliability programs in aviation.
Familiarity with maintenance procedures, technical documents, and aircraft systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
Certification in Aircraft Maintenance or Airworthiness (e.g., EASA, FAA, ICAO) is preferred.
