MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides high-quality cardiology care to patients in this area of medicine.
2. Provide consultative service as requested.
3. Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
4. Actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participate in research activities.
5. Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
6. Perform special procedures as privileged.
7. Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

1. Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
2. Completion of required period of training in Cardiology and/or subspecialty.
3. Saudi Arabian or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
4. Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
5. A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must.
6. Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

1. Minimum 3-4 years post Board/Fellowship in Cardiology.
2. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

1. Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
